Why no mention of having to document the legal basis for each instance of personal data processing? Seems like a very significant oversight.
There are 6 legal bases to choose from, not all of which are available to schools:

A lot of the downstream sharing out of the MIS is going to be hard to defend when a legal basis must be specified and documented, especially when it has to be weighed up against the rights of the data subjects (pupils).
